[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Procedure for authentication and archiving of the works by Grazia Varisco
The Archivio Grazia Varisco has started to catalogue the artworks with the aim to draft the catalogo ragionato of her research and production in the art field.
This operation has the purpose to document the artist’s activity with the intent to obtain informations and documentary materials related to the works of Grazia Varisco,
and to the cultural contest in which she performed.
For this reason we kindly ask, to everybody is in possession of works by Grazia Varisco, to contact the archive by e-mail (archivio.varisco@gmail.com) sending us photos of the front and the rear of each artwork, and all the documentation and information available related to the work (year, title, size, origin, exhibitions, bibliography, etc.)
To record and archive the works are required:
- 4 colour prints, 18 x 24 cm 2 of the front and 2 of the rear of the work
- 1 colour print, 18 x 24 cm with the detail of the artist’s signature or other signs or labels if there are
- 2 high resolution digital files (300 dpi,*.tiff) front and rear of the work and any particular signs
- The archive form, that you can download here, filled with all informations and signed.
The material received will be valued by the artist himself, authenticated and recorded in the Archivio Grazia Varisco under the supervision of the Artistic Committee.
The Artistic Comminsion usually meets monthly and consider all requests received.
Only after the recognition and approval of the Artistic Committee the works will be included in the archive by assigning it an identification number.
After this procedure it will be given to the collectors the authentication certificate of the work presented.
